Capital Campaign
Facility Refurbishment and Expansion
In 2013 discussions began within our community regarding facility and space needs of both church and school. These discussions resulted in the Trinity Space Needs Committee formed by both the Trinity Episcopal School Board of Trustees and the Trinity Episcopal Church Vestry. This committee put together a short term plan but soon realized that a more formal long term plan needed to be created. In the summer of 2014 the committee proposed the hiring of a professional firm to evaluate our current space and propose a Facility Master Plan for Trinity Church and School. Hiemsath Architects of Austin, Texas was selected for the task. Hiemsath has extensive experience with church/school facilities and had previously worked on projects in Victoria.
Through several meetings with the leadership, staff and community members the Master Plan was delivered in May of 2015. A copy can be found here. Soon afterward, two committees were created to take the project from paper to reality. The Finance Committee will work with a capital campaign firm to assist in the creation of the budget for the project and the Building Committee will work with the architects and contractors to oversee the project.
