CALLING & CARING VOLUNTEERS

Calling & Caring volunteers fall into two groups.

  1. Lay Eucharist Ministers (LEM) This group of licensed volunteers takes communion to home-bound individuals on Sundays after church or during the week. The goal is to visit the homebound at least once a month.
  2. Hospital volunteers make visits Monday-Friday to those who are temporarily confined to the hospital.

DAUGHTERS OF THE KING (DOK)

Susan Hyak

Daughters of the King is to be an extension of Christ's Kingdom though Prayer, Service and Evangelism. Daughters follow a rule of order that includes daily prayer and a spiritual discipline of service and evangelism. Our chapter, Servants of the Cross, meets once a month--balancing meetings with service projects, devotionals and prayer. Service projects include preparing and delivering gift bags for shut-ins, making prayer blankets and preparing food for those in need.
